Mr. Lorenzo Lualdi is a Mechanical Engineer, an Italian Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney
(EPI member), as well as an Italian and EU Trademark and Design Attorney admitted before EUIPO
(European Union Intellectual Property Office).
He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico of Milan with an experimental thesis at
Bioengineering Department of Politecnico in the field of computational simulations with the finite
element (FEM) analysis for the evaluation of the mechanical efficiency of biomedical devices.
After the degree, he gained different work experiences with engineering companies. He worked as product-
specialist in a biomedical company, then in the procurement department of EnelPower, a branch company
of the Enel group, working in the construction of energy-production plants.
After these work experiences, he began to work on patents in 2003 at a leading IP firm in Milan, where he
started to work on drafting, filing, prosecution and litigation of patents and design models, as well as on
copyright and unfair competition matters.
He is particularly experienced in all the legal aspects of I.P., i.e. in patent, design and unfair completion
